HOSA, the Health Occupations Students of America is an international career and technical organization that develops students for the healthcare industry. Health Science courses at HHS prepare students for a Certification in Nursing Assistant. These courses provide opportunities for career exploration and development of employable medical skills. Students travel to various health facilities to observe and participate in clinicals to develop their nursing skills. Last year, 93% of the CNA students passed all requirements to be fully certified by the State of Florida Board of Nursing.
