Prom King and Queen applications have officially
opened, please pick up your forms in the front
office. Forms are due by Friday April 21st to the
Guidance office.
To be eligible for Prom King or Queen you must be a
senior, have a 2.5 GPA and have no referrals that resulted in ACE
or OSS for the 22-23 school year. You must also be present at
PROM to win. Please take note that the GPA requirements have
changed.
Color guard auditions will be next Monday-Thursday, 4-6 in the gym. No experience necessary.
Come wearing athletic clothing and closed toe shoes! Be sure to fill out the online form

Are you ready for some fun? Today, during both lunches the
guidance department will host an Easter egg hunt. If you find one of
the hidden eggs, bring it to the guidance table that will be set up by
the front office. If you can answer the question correctly, you will
receive a prize.
If you are interested in taking Lineman classes at the college next year and are
not currently in the program please sign up in guidance. You MUST be 16 years
old with a valid driver's license and have an unweighted GPA of a 2.0 to
qualify. You MUST also have transportation to and from the college.
If you are interested in taking Dual Enrollment classes next year and are not currently in DE
please sign up in guidance. You MUST have an unweighted GPA of a 3.0 to qualify.
You MUST also have transportation to and from the college.
The boys weightlifting team came in 3rd place at the District Championships out of 8 teams. Jesus
Perez was the District Champion in the 238 Weight Class with a 670lb total. Lifters that qualified for
next week at the Regional Championship are:

There will be an informational meeting for those interested in
trying out for next year’s competition and football cheer teams.
The meeting will take place TONIGHT, Monday, April 3rd in the
auditorium at 6:30pm. A parent or guardian MUST be present
with you at the meeting.
The field writing test will be given TOMORROW, Tuesday, April 4th
. Juniors and Seniors that choose to
participate in a post-secondary exploration day for that day, need to be sure to return their
permission slip no later than TODAY at 3:30 in order to get that absence excused. They need to be
turned in to the front office or English or History teachers.
Applications for Student Council and Student Body officers will
be in the front office. Please read over the material carefully and
get all sections filled out and turn in to Mrs. Cartwright or Mrs.
Huddleston by Monday, April 10th.
