Tickets sales for Homecoming will begin Monday and continue thru
Thursday. 8-8:30 each morning at the north window of the front office and
each day during lunch outside the front office. DE and virtual student can
come thru attendance during the lunch times to buy your ticket. Tickets will
be $10 for one and $15 for two.
There will be a Junior Class Homecoming Meeting TONIGHT at 6:00 p.m. in Mrs. Albritton's room (Room 114-by the gym). Parents and students are welcome to attend. We will be discussing the details for building our float. Our float theme is The Nightmare Before Christmas.
*You can park in the student parking lot. We will make sure a gate is unlocked.
Sports
Girls Basketball Tryout will be Monday October 24th at the HHS gym, you must have a blue slip to try out. The
Tryout will begin at 4:00 and last till 5:45.
Soccer tryouts Wednesday and Thursday at the fields at 4:00!

The final day for the Class of 2023 pictures for the yearbook is Wednesday, October
26, in the Media Center. Seniors must sign-up online with Prestige or call Prestige - 1-800-292-3715.
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide 4year merit scholarship. Any senior interested in applying for this
scholarship can stop by the front office to pick up information. Scholarship deadline is December 1, 2022.

If you are interested in starting the lineman program in the Spring please go up and see your guidance
counselor as soon as possible.
If you are a current DE student please meet with Dr. Crawford or Ms. Blandin about your Spring schedule.
Wednesday Mrs. Juarez-Mier’s AP classes will be hosting College and Career Wednesday
during lunches. They will be serving Aguas Frescas.
Drama Club will resume meetings Wednesday, October 19th at 4:00
p.m. in the Commons.

A list of homecoming candidates will be placed on the media center window. A link for
preliminary voting will be emailed Tuesday morning for seniors and Freshman only.
Voting will end after first period Thursday.

Miss Hardee County and the committee are excited to invite Sophomore and Junior girls to the
first 2023 MHC meeting October 20th at 6:30 pm! The meeting will be hosted at Faith
Presbyterian Church in Wauchula! Remember the crown could be yours!
This Friday let’s all show our support in the fight against cancer and “Pink Out”.
We hope to see you all dressed in pink at school as well as the game showing our Wildcat spirit!

please see the media center window to find your testing room for session 2
that will take place on Thursday Oct. 13th.
The Princess Project Organization would like to invite everyone to their event being
held on October 17th at the Wauchula Train Depot! There will be snacks, stylist,
music, and dresses for days! Stop by to find your homecoming dress with no cost and a
