Underclassmen Retakes for the yearbook is scheduled for
Wednesday, October 26, in room 45 from 8:00 am until 1:15 pm.
Underclassmen may sign up with Mrs. Dewey in room 45 or email
her kdewey@hardee.k12.fl.us.
Attention student drivers, on Tuesday we are hosting the Wildcat
Invitational Cross Country here on the high school campus. If you are
a student driver, please make sure that your car is not parked in the
first row or the last row after 4:00 on Tuesday. If you do have to stay
after school Tuesday, please make sure you move your car to the
middle rows. Thank you.
Attention Senior Students and Parents: The Guidance Department will be holding a Senior Parent Night in the auditorium tonight from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The counselors will be sharing information about graduation requirements, scholarships, and upcoming FAFSA nights. There will be an AVID meeting for students in AVID following parent night. We hope to see you tonight.

Wildcat Stadium, the theme for the game is neon. Students should wear
bright colors to show your support for the Wildcats!
The Academic Team will be having its first meeting Tuesday morning at 8 AM in Mr. Alden's
room #603. If trivia is your thing, or you have a wealth of knowledge in any subject area, come
see what we have to offer!"
Students if you are interested in earning community
service hours please come to the first Leo Club meeting of
the year for more information. The meeting will be on
Tuesday, September 27th morning at 8:10 a.m. in the
Attendance Office. Leo Club applications are available
in the Attendance Office and can be picked up before
school or during your lunchtime. Thank you and we hope

Applications for Homecoming Queen, King or class sweetheart are
available in the front office. Please fill out both sides and return to Mrs
Naranjo by October 5th.
ATTENTION SENIORS: If you ordered a senior t-shirt, see Mr.
Mendoza in Room 1306 to pick it up.
Also, Senior Sunrise is this Saturday, September 24 at the stadium at
6:30AM. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. There will be tacos, games, &
the Charlie Creek Coffee Company trailer.
Drama Club will meet this Wednesday and Thursday in the auditorium
from 4:00-5:00 p.m. We had a great turnout at our first meeting last week
and are hoping to have even more students join us this week as we plan for
an exciting year!

Attention girls weightlifting: There will not be any girls
weightlifting preseason workout this week. Workouts will
resume next week.
This Saturday, September 17, 2022 come support your Wildcats
at our first home football game as they take on Palmetto Ridge. Dress in
your best “Outer Banks” outfit to show your school spirit. Hope
to see you at the game.
The first drama club meeting will be
held Thursday September 15th in the
Auditorium from 4:00 -5:00pm. Ms.
Jackson and Ms. Fisk are looking for
anyone who would be interested in
acting, singing, set design, makeup/hair design, etc. What a
new and exciting new adventure here at HHS, so come on out
to the meeting and sign up.
Good luck girls Varsity and JV Volleyball team who will be
taking on Frost Proof starting at 5:30 for their first home
game. Good luck girls golf team as they compete against
Fort Meade at 3:30. Good luck girls and boys swim / dive
team at their meet in Port Charlotte beginning at 5:30.
Also, good luck to girls and boys cross country team as
they compete in Highlands Hammock at 5:30.
FCA will be hosting their first Monday Night Huddle today, September 12th
at 6:30pm at the FCA building with guest speaker, Terry Green. Everyone
is welcome to attend and we hope to see you there.
Seniors – Prestige will be on campus in the auditorium for pictures on
Tuesday, September 13, Wednesday, September 14(ER), and Thursday,
September 15. This is your LAST chance to have a senior picture taken for the
yearbook. There is a $10 sit fee due at time of pictures. You must call to sign
up 1-800-292-3715. If you have any questions see Mrs. Dewey.
The Culinary Club will have its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 21st
immediately after school in the culinary lab. The meeting will last from 3:30 to 5:00pm.
You don't have to be in a culinary class to attend. Everyone is welcome. Please come by
the culinary lab in room 801 to sign up to attend.
The weightlifting team will meet today
at 4:00 at the stadium.
