-If you are interested in being a part of the drama program's spring production, auditions are being held Monday, February 5th at 3:45pm in the auditorium. We are in need of lots of actors and lots of help backstage! Participation is open to anyone interested.
-Are you a senior at Hardee Senior High School and plan on pursuing a degree in an
Agricultural related field? If so, make sure you pick up an application from the High School
Guidance Office to be eligible for a $500 scholarship. Don’t delay as time is running out.
-If you need help with your FAFSA, you may come out this evening or Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Help will be available in the media center.
-A representative from Grand Canyon University will be on campus during lunch tomorrow. Any Senior who might be interested in a FREE trip to visit the campus should stop by and speak with her.
-If would like to participate in the Rotary District Speech Contest, the deadline to notify them is January 25th. You may pick up a packet in the front office if you are interested in participating.

-HHS will be hosting a Science Fair Stem Night this evening from 5-6:30 pm. Please come out
to see all of the wonderful projects that our students have been working on.

-Congratulations to Lily Lambert and Joana Trejo-Ortiz on being chosen as an FFCC Scholastic Featured Performer. We are the only school that had 2 students chosen. This is one of the highest honors of the Winter Guard.
-Seniors, are you interested in becoming a 911 operator? If so, please see your counselor for
more information. You must be 18 by graduation to enter the program.
-We have a few additional spots for the ASVAB that will be given in early 2024. If you are
interested in signing up for this test, please see Ms. Dean in the front office.
-Don’t forget to wear a college or career shirt tomorrow. You could win a prize!
-For College Wednesday this week we will have SFSC visiting and lots of goodies will be for sale in the courtyard:
Key Club will be selling Conchas and Hot Chocolate. The combo for Conchas and Hot
Chocolate will be $3, or you can purchase a Conchas or hot chocolate for $2 each.
AVID will be selling popcorn and pineapple water. Popcorn will be $1 and pineapple
water will be $2.
And, the Winter Guard will be selling various baked goods and sweets!

-There will be an FBLA meeting on Thursday, November 2nd in the morning at 8:00 am in
Mrs. Foreman's room, room 805. We will be taking our club picture and discussing t-shirt
orders.
-The Culinary Club will have its November Club Meeting tomorrow, November 1st,
immediately after school in the culinary lab. The meeting is open to everyone and will
end at 5pm.
-The Chess Club will be meeting in Mrs. Aubry's room, 1403, tomorrow before school at
8:00. All are welcome!
